Huma Qureshi, Vijay Varma, Rasika Dugal: 5 actors whose performances stood out on OTT in 2022

In the year 2022, the OTT platforms provided some of the best content with the most captivating stars, who gave us outstanding performances. Be it Huma Qureshi in ‘Monica, O My Darling’, Rasika Dugal in ‘Delhi Crime 2’ or Vijay Varma in ‘Darlings’. As we bid adieu to this year, here we take a look at FIVE actors whose performances left us speechless.

Rasika Dugal in ‘Delhi Crime 2’

Rasika Dugal is known for delivering powerful performances in every project. When she returned as Neeti Singh in "Delhi Crime Season 2," the show received praise for yet another riveting performance from her. In the latest season, she is no longer a trainee officer. She has been promoted and is an integral part of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi's team. The actress said in an interview that the show has changed her preconceived notions about the Police Force. According to her, it’s a herculean responsibility that they shoulder every day.

3/6

Vijay Verma in ‘Darlings’

Vijay Varma is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding performers of the year. The audience hated his character 'Hamza' in the film ‘Darlings’ which is one of the best compliments an actor can receive for portraying a negative role. Vijay played Hamza, who is an alcoholic and resorts to domestic violence as he beats his wife Badru (Alia Bhatt) after drinking.

Huma Qureshi in ‘Monica, O My Darling’

Huma is not new to the OTT space, she has been ruling our hearts with her show ‘Maharani’, and this year with ‘Monica O My Darling’, the actor nailed a remarkable performance. In the film, Huma plays the titular role and is seen blackmailing men after having affairs with them. The character is that of a confident seductress, who uses her relationships with men to achieve her goals, and Huma portrayed the character just right.
