November is almost upon us – and with it come chilly evenings that are best spent indoors in front of the TV watching your favourite series on an OTT platform. In keeping with the weather, here are some great shows that we have chosen for you to keep you cosily wrapped up in front of your TV sets.

We have done with the supernatural and taken royalty in our stride and now with Christmas season approaching, it is time for Santa Claus to make an appearance. For this delightful series, The Santa Clauses, which highlights Santa’s quest for finding a replacement and shifting out of the North Pole as he turns 65, you will have to tune into Disney Plus. This is a comedy miniseries and is based on the Santa Claus film series. Episode 1 begins November 16, 2022.

November 4, 2022, is the official release date for Manifest Season 4, the strange supernatural drama that has kept people on the edge of their seats since Season 1 premiered on September 24, 2018 on NBC. It’s your date with goosebumps and divinity, and the mysterious realm of the afterlife. NBC wrapped it up in 2021 after showing three seasons. Then Netflix took over and its popularity prompted them to renew Manifest for its final fourth season with 20 episodes.

There is going to be so much more viewership for The Crown season 5 on Netflix, which premiers on November 9, 2022, coming just weeks after the real-life worldwide focus on Queen Elizabeth’s life after the monarch passed away on September 8. The serial traces the reign of Queen Elizabeth from her wedding in 1947 onwards and Season 5 takes a peek into the 1990s decade. The series starting this November has a brand new cast from the earlier seasons and features Imelda Staunton as Elizabeth.

Keep November 23, 2022 aside exclusively for Wednesday Addams, the day the series premieres on Netflix. Lovers of macabre character Wednesday Addams have been watching her evil ways since she was six when she tries to murder her little brother and keeps pets spiders. This version, the trailer of which will send shivers up your spine, stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday and also features Catherine Zeta-Jones. Don’t watch it alone.

Prime Video has slated Mayank Sharma’s Breathe into the Shadows, Season 2 for a November 9, 2022 release. The trailer that shows Abhishek Bachchan as the main lead promises that mysteries will deepen and shadows will get darker – and indeed the dark and gritty environment that was whipped up in season 1 seems to continue with this new season.
