Noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to France is a moment to celebrate 25 years of the India-France Strategic Partnership, Jawed Ashraf, Ambassador of India to France, said: It is also a time to look ahead with greater confidence, optimism and ambition. It is a partnership that has seen the sweeping changes that are taking place in the world and has become far more salient than before. It is not just important for our two countries but it's also vital for the Indo-Pacific region and also has a strong global impact." "PM Modi and French President Macron have an extremely strong relationship ... PM Modi was the first Head of State to meet President Macron soon after his re-election in Paris," he added.
