With the rise in mobile theft and lost cases, Haridwar Police returned 252 lost mobiles to owners. Speaking on the same, Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) on April 19 said that based on the inputs from the victims, cyber cell traced the mobiles costing worth Rs.43 lakhs, recovered them and returned to their owners. He said, “Cyber cell tries to find stolen mobiles by taking information from the victims. In such a situation, we have recovered 252 mobiles and returned them to the victims. Their cost is Rs 43 lakhs. In the last 6 months, we have returned mobile phones worth more than Rs 1 crore.”
