VMRDA chairman Dronamraju Srinivas performed traditional cow puja and inaugurated the three-day-long ‘Organic Mela’. Over 100 stalls are showcasing organic agricultural products during the mela organized at Alwardas Grounds, MVP in Visakhapatnam on February 7. Various types of millet-based food products, organic vegetables & terrace garden plants are put on display at the stalls. As part of the fair, seminars of Kisan Sammelanam, Terrace Gardening, Arogyame Maha Bhagyam are organised once every day for the visitors. The 3-day-long 'Organic Mela' will remain open for public from 10am to 10pm and will conclude on February 9.
