Bigg Boss Malayalam 8: 5 Things We Know So Far About the Upcoming Agnipariksha
Bigg Boss Malayalam fans are excited following the announcement of Bigg Boss Malayalam 8. In the teaser released on host Mohanlal's birthday, the superstar announced that the new season of the show would be a golden opportunity for commoners. In the short video, he revealed that the season would feature Agnipariksha, a pre-launch event to select the commoner contestants. Soon after the announcement, fans began going gaga over it. Although the makers are yet to announce more details about Agnipariksha, here are five things we know about the first-ever pre-launch event in Malayalam.
Just like in the previous seasons, commoner contestants will be asked to send their introduction videos to the makers through the official website. However, this time, not just one or two people will be selected for the next stage; instead, more than 10 contestants will be picked for the Agnipariksha.
In the Telugu version, former contestants Abijeet Duddala, Bindu Madhavi, and Navdeep served as judges for the pre-show. Therefore, we can expect some of the daring former contestants of Bigg Boss Malayalam to take on judging duties in Agnipariksha as well.
In the Telugu version, five contestants made it into the show. In Malayalam, however, we can expect a similar number of commoners to enter the competition. On the other hand, there are reports that Agnipariksha may feature contestants entering the show based on both the judges' decisions and public votes.
According to sources, Bigg Boss Malayalam Agnipariksha is expected to launch in mid-August. The show will have exclusive OTT streaming on JioHotstar.
