Jayashree dies by suicide
Kannada actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Jayashree Ramaiah was found dead on Monday (January 25) afternoon. The actress was reportedly found hanging in an old age home in Bangalore. According to reports, Jayashree who was battling depression died by suicide, on Sunday late at night.
Found dead
As per the latest report, the actress locked herself in a room post her dinner at the old age home and never turned up in the morning. Unfortunately, she was found dead, hanging in the room when the authorities of the organization bang opened the actress' room.
I am financially strong but depressed’
On 25th July, Jayashree went 'LIVE' on her social media handle and mentioned, "I am not doing all of this for publicity sake. I am not expecting financial help from Sudeep sir as well. I am only expecting my death as I am unable to battle depression. I am financially strong but depressed. I have been going through a lot of personal issues. I have been betrayed since childhood and unable to overcome it (sic).”
'I am loser'
Following her 'LIVE' session on Facebook, Jayashree requested people to stop commenting about her. She further stated saying, " I am a loser I need mercy killing."
‘I Quit. Goodbye to this f*****g world and depression’
The former BB Kannda contestant left fans worried with her Facebook post on July 22, 2020. She wrote, "I quit. Goodbye to this f*****g world and depression"
‘I'm Alright and safe’
However, Jayashree quickly deleted her post and shared a new update saying, "I'm Alright and safe!! Love you all (sic)”
Files a case against her maternal uncle
Jayashree had earlier filed a police complaint against her maternal uncle accusing him of physical and sexual harassment. The actress filed a complaint in Chennammanakere Achukattu police station, Bengaluru.
Sandalwood debut
The actress made her Sandalwood debut with the movie Uppu Huli Khara, directed by Imran Sardaria. Jayashree shared the screen space with another former Bigg Boss contestant Anushree.
Grand entry into Bigg Boss Kannada season 3
The popular dancer and actress became a household name after participating in the popular reality show Bigg Boss Kannada season 3. She was the second contestant of season 3 to be voted out of the show.
