From Vaishnavi Gowda to Gagan Chinappa; Star actors who are making their acting comeback

Kannada television is all set to witness the return of star actors back to their roots. Vaishnavi, Neha Gowda, Gagan Chinappa, Vijay Suriya, and many others will soon be making their acting comeback. Here is a list of a few star celebs who have bagged new shows on the small screens.

After her stint in Bigg Boss Kannada season as a newbie, actress Neha Gowda is set to return to Kannada television with a brand new project. Revealing the soon-to-be-launched daily soap title as 'Lacchi', Neha Gowda in her Instagram post added, "I play a very different role which I have never done before. Very excited to play this role because it's different from what you've seen before and also it's a very challenging character."

Actress Vaishnavi, who often made guest appearances on the small screen, will now make her full-fledged acting comeback in the upcoming daily soap 'Seetha Rama' on a leading Kannada general entertainment channel. The actress has bagged the lead role of a female divorcee, whose husband abandoned her when she was pregnant and she had to thus raise her 4-year-old daughter all by herself.

After making his debut in Telugu television, actor Gagan Chinappa is now set to return to his roots. The actor will soon be making his Kannada TV comeback with a new daily soap titled 'Seetha Rama'. The actor has bagged the lead role of a businessman, who yearns for true love. Gagan will be seen sharing screen space with actress Vaishnavi. This will be the first time the duo will be seen together in their career.

Along with his Telugu serial 'Trinayani', which is also dubbed in Kannada, Chandu Gowda has bagged a new project in his kitty. The actor will be seen sharing the screen space with his Lakshmi Baramma co-star Neha Gowda in the upcoming show 'Lacchi'.

Joining the star cast of the upcoming show 'Lacchi' along with Neha Gowda and Chandu Gowda is actor Vijay Suriya. The dimpled king will be seen playing one of the lead roles in the upcoming show 'Lacchi'. Vijay Suriya last made his TV appearance with 'Raji' in a cameo role.

Fondly known for her on-screen character 'Sagari' from Puttagowri Maduve, Sindu Kalyan will now be seen as the ravishing vamp of Gattimela. The actress will soon be replacing actress Archana, who essays the role of 'Suhasini' in Gattimela.

After being ousted from the daily soap 'Jothe Jotheyalli', Anirudh has bagged a new project which is directed by S Narayan. Titled 'Suryamsha', Anirudh will be seen playing the lead role in the new show. The title is sure to remind one about the iconic Kannada movie which was acted by Anirudh Jatkar's late father-in-law Dr. Vishnuvardhan.
