The Kapil Sharma Show: Sonu Nigam to Kapil, 'Twitter par toh aap bhi bahut famous hain...'

The episode of The Kapil Sharma Show starts with Kapil and Chandan Prabhakar dressed up as Rajiv Thakur’s father and mother as the latter wants to get married to Baccha's sister-in-law Bhuri. Kapil and Chandan crack many jokes on Rajiv from taking a dig at his comedy timing to making joke of his looks. Kapil, Chandan who played rich characters kept cracking witty jokes. The team made the audience and viewers laugh out loud with their funny jokes. At the end, Kapil, Chandan and Rajiv get exposed and they make and exit.

Kapil welcomes his guest, singer Sonu Nigam. He introduces Sonu by revealing few unknown facts about him. He reveals that Sonu has sung in over 15 different languages. Sonu makes an entry by singing his popular song ‘Sapna jahan’ from the movie ‘Brothers’.

While introducing Sonu Nigam and praising him, Kapil says that Sonu is one of the few singers who is not only appreciated for his singing, but is also quite famous on Twitter. Sonu makes a comeback with a witty joke and says, 'Twitter par toh aap bhi bahut famous hain...'

Sonu calls himself one of the lucky artists as he has been singing on stage since last 41 years. He also said that he began singing at the age of 4. He entertains fans with his melodious voice and sings some of his popular songs.

Kapil quizzed Sonu about his multi-talented personality. He went on to say that he loves learning new things. He went to reveal that he knows Taekwondo, palmistry, numerology, Yoga and many more things.

Sonu dedicates a romantic song and they share few cute moments. Sonu and Madhurima have known each other since 1995.

Sonu Nigam went on to divulge an interesting fact behind his popular song Dil Dooba Dooba from Khakee. He told that he had a major fight with his wife that day and he had to sing this peppy fun dance number even though he was in a very foul mood.

Kapil had a foot in a mouth moment when one of his jokes backfired. Kapil asked Madhurima if she spies on her husband when he travels abroad for shows. Madhurima answered saying most of the time she accompanies him so she doesn't need to worry. Sonu adds saying that Kapil should not question as he has recently got married and now his wife will make it a point to travel with him for his outdoor shoots. Kapil was left speechless as the audience enjoyed the joke.

Sonu not only enthralled the audience with his soulful singing, but also showed everyone why he is such a great singer. He presented a medley of songs which he usually does during his live concerts. It is called 'Sonu Express', the popular singer jumped from one song to another famous song and charmed the fans with his singing talent.

Sumona aka Bhoori was once again at the receiving end as Kapil cracked many humorous jokes. He cracked many hilarious jokes. He said she dials phone numbers with her big lips, he works for a cicus and walks on a tight rope on her hands, their fun banter left everyone is splits of laughter.

Sonu's wife revealed that though she loves her husband's singing but without being shy she would accept that she loves Shaan's voice.

Guest Sonu Nigam left everyone bowled over with his sense of humour. While enjoying the mushayara round, Sonu told Sapna aka Krushna, "Aadmi bhi bante ho aurat bhi bante ho na, kiya kya hai producer par jaadu tona, itna paisa kamati ho, 1 crore rupaye do na..." This made everyone burst into laughter including host Kapil Sharma.
