Actor and producer of several sitcoms, JD Majethia has achieved an incredible feat by climbing Everest Base Camp. What makes it inspiring is the actor and producer ticked it off from his bucket list at the age of 54. Age is just a number and he has proven it with his zest for life. Happy high post the climb
JD Majethia shared pictures from his climb after finally reaching Everest Base camp. He wrote, “This is how I looked post my trekking of EBC for 11 days .. HAPPY and surf through the other pics to see how I feel.. TOP OF THE WORLD, literally.”
On top of the world
Proudly flaunting the national flag on the top of the EBC, JD Majethia completed the climb in 11 days. He has been winning accolades from several actors from the industry and also his fans and followers. Adaa Khan, Gautam Rode, Deepshikha Nagpal, Pariva Pranati and several others congratulated him.
Singing away to glory
To keep up the spirits, JD Majethia kept singing while climbing. The songs also matched his vibes in a fun way. He gave a glimpse of singing songs and wrote, “Mountain Idol me ye banda zaroor aage ayega.”
Meeting National Award Winner climber on the way
The actor and producer, who had been sharing posts about his climb, got many messages from his fans and followers and one of them happened to be passionate mountaineer Keval Hiren Kakka. Keval is a national award winner, who has climbed 6 tallest mountains of the world. JD Majethia shared his experience of meeting him and Keval also shared how he had been a fan and admirer of him since Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai days.
On his way to the climb

When his furry friend came to see him off
His first video was from the airport on May 6, where his furry pet came to see him off. He wrote alongside, “On my way to tick a bucket list.” On May 15, he finally reached the base camp.
His zeal in life
Speaking to ETimes TV after getting a brand new look, he had said how he had always been high on energy. He said, “My positive spirit has been since Survivor India days. I am enjoying and this look has inspired and motivated me from inside. It has enhanced me from within. I also take a lot of my health. You need to maintain a healthy mind, diet and exterior and it compliments each other.”
