​Baa (Sudha Shivpuri)

Baa, the matriarch of the family in the show, was brought to life with warmth and grace by Sudha Shivpuri. Her portrayal left a lasting impression and became one of the most cherished characters on television. Although Baa’s journey came to an end before the show concluded, the character remained iconic. ​Savita Virani (Apara Mehta)

Played by Apara Mehta, Savita Virani was the prominent characters in the show. She played the role of Tulsi’s mother-in-law and was her biggest support. Tulsi and Savita's bond was one of the highlights of the daily soap. Her act has conquered the hearts of many. Her character, too, died in the first season. Jaya Bhattacharya played the evil character of Payal in the show who was hellbent in making Tulsi's life a living hell. The character was made famous by the way it was portrayed by Jaya. The character tried every possible way to cause harm to Tulsi. Although there might be a new villain in the reboot show, Payal will really be missed. Jaya worked for seven years in the show. Ansh (Akashdeep Saigal)

Akashdeep Saigal played the role of Tulsi’s son Ansh in the show. In the show Tulsi killed her son as he wouldn’t follow the values of truth and honesty which she thought of as ideal.
