Sheetal Pandya

Television actress Sheetal Pandya had a court marriage with her childhood friend and doctor fiance Abhishek Bhattacharya on November 13. The duo will get married in a traditional ceremony on November 20. Their wedding is happening at a 5-star hotel in Goregoan, Mumbai. Sheetal has announced that she is moving to the US and is bidding adieu to television. The actress won't do daily soaps anymore. Speaking about it, she told BT, "I want to make dance videos and will complete my Kathak course online. I am also keen to explore other personal interests, which I couldn’t due to my shooting schedules. I am planning to take up screen writing workshops, too. Since I won’t be in India, I will not be able to pursue acting in daily soaps, but I would love to explore other mediums."

Mohena Kumari started her journey as a participant on the reality show, Dance India Dance. From there on, she did many youth-based shows and was last seen as Keerti in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actress bid adieu to the industry after she tied the knot with Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Suyash Rawat. In an interview with ETimes TV, she had told us, "I will say goodbye to acting and Mumbai. My life is all set to take a 180-degree turn. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Even my industry friends were taken aback with my decision, but that’s the kind of person I am. I follow my heart. I have taken several leaps of faith in my life and this is the biggest so far." Anas Rashid

Anas Rashid, known as Suraj Rathi, from the daily soap, Diya Aur Baati Hum tied the knot in 2017, and never looked back to the television industry. He has a one-year-old daughter and has taken up farming for a living. Earlier in an interview with Etimes TV, he had said, "Post our marriage, Heena (his wife) and I just kept travelling to different locations and spent a lot of time together. And then one day she gave me this good news. Obviously, it was my duty to take care of her and be with her during pregnancy so I did not think about returning to TV.
