Avika Gor having a secret child to Palak Tiwari being trolled for being too skinny: When TV's young brigade got harsh treatment from trolls and rumour mills

There are enough instances when several popular television celebs have been a victim of rumours and attacks by trolls. This also includes TV's young brigade - Avika Gor and Jannat Zubair among others - who have faced criticism for different reasons and found themselves embroiled in weird controversies.

Shweta Tiwari's daughter, who has got everyone's attention with her song 'Bijlee', is the latest one to have caught the eyes of trolls. Post one of her gym outings recently, she was mocked for being 'too skinny' and 'kankaal'. Some even questioned why she was sporting make-up post her workout. So far, the actress hasn't reacted to any of the comments.

Balika Vadhu's young Anandi, who was later seen in Sasural Simar Ka with Manish Raisinghan, had to battle the rumours of her affair with the actor who is actually 10 years older to her. Not just this, there was also a rumour that the two have a secret child. While Avika went on record to clarify that they are the best of friends, Manish called the rumour 'absurd'. The two have not let the weird rumours affect their friendship as they continue to be close friends. While Manish is now happily married to Sangeita, Avika is in a relationship with Milind Chandwani.

Patiala Babes fame Ashnoor Kaur once slammed a Twitter user after he asked her an inappropriate question during her #AskAshnoor session. He questioned the actress about one of her songs 'Kya Karun' and tweeted, "Tumne kya karu jaisa vulgar song kyu kia aur tumhe jarorat kya hai physical and kissing scene karne ki future me" This made her upset and she replied angrily, "Firstly, Kya Karu sir wasn't a vulgar song... And aapne kahan dekh liye vulgar scenes?! Is it the vulgarity of your vision and thought? If yes, then pls change it... Will be good for you."

Nikki Tamboli was called out for joining Khatron Ke Khiladi last year right after her brother's demise and enjoying herself with co-contestants. The actress didn't keep quiet and in a note on Instagram wrote, "Some stupid people are msging me and commenting on my pictures that my brother has just passed away few days back don't you feel shame you are enjoying so let me tell you idiots that I also have my life, I also deserve to be happy if not for myself for my brother as he loves when I stay happy and these people who have no work but only have time to comment and spread negativity I would request you to go and achieve your dreams it will make you and your parents and your loved ones happy too."

Avneet and Siddharth are television's young talents. The two, who were seen together in Aladdin, were linked together. However, they time and again clarified that they are not dating. Avneet told TOI, "I don’t get upset with people who link me with Siddharth or think that we are dating. Instead I am glad that they think we are dating because our job is done there. Our chemistry is so good that people saw us as Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. It’s a compliment for us and I even congratulate Siddharth that our hard work paid off and people do believe in the characters we play."

Jannat Zubair made headlines when she refused to kiss her co-star Ritvik Arora in Tu Aashiqui. The actress was in her teens then and managed to convince the makers that she won't shoot anything that is not suitable for her age. She exclusively told us back then, "I am relieved with the decision as a lot of things have happened in the last two weeks. All this while, I was okay with shooting a kiss on hand or forehead but there are certain things that don't suit my age and I am not comfortable doing." When she had refused to do the scene, the makers had also threatened to replace her which made the actress quite upset.

Taarak actors Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat also caught themselves in the middle of the storm after ETimes TV reported that the two were dating in real life. The two actors have an age difference of 10 years. Both Munmun and Raj reacted sharply to the news. Raj has now quit the sitcom. The reasons for it he did not wish to state. There was also news that he had differences with his reel father, Dilip Joshi. But the latter had clarified to TOI that there's no truth in the rumours.
