While April fool’s Day is the day when people prank one another. But this time we reached out to a few television actors and they revealed how they too have been fooled on this day.

When Adaa Khan got pranked by her family

Naagin actress Adaa Khan says, "In my school time, one of the teachers asked me to get my parents to school the next day. I didn't tell anything to my parents and was scared to go to school, but I had to. The teacher asked me why I hadn't brought my parents along. I panicked and that's when she said, 'Relax. You are my best student and this was just an April Fool's joke."

When Angad Hasija didn’t speak with his friend for days

Dharm Yoddha Garud actor Angad Hasija says, “Once in college, my friend told me that it's his birthday the next day, so he was throwing a fancy party and was taking a few friends to a discotheque. He asked us to dress up well and come. I went and bought jeans for that party and even bought a birthday gift for him. When I reached the location, I discovered that it was shut for the day. And I called up my friend who said April Fool banaya! I didn't speak to him for a few days after that.”

When a party went wrong for Abhishek Rawat

Kaamnaa actor Abhishek Rawat says, "I used to enjoy pranking people ..... But there was this one time when one of our friends from school times, fooled us. I remember our friend called us over for his birthday and it was a theme party, where we were supposed to dress up in superhero costumes. Me and my friends all got dressed as different superheroes and with all excitement went to his place. It was only after reaching his house that we realised we had been ‘April fooled! But fortunately, my friend’s mom organised some yummy food for us and saved the day.”

When Vidisha Srivastava found an empty venue

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Actress Vidisha Srivastava shares, “Once a friend told me that there is an anniversary party happening for a couple. I was excited so I purchased gifts and was all set. When I reached the party venue, it was empty! And then this friend comes out and says that it's April fool’s day. I bashed him up then and there (laughs).”

When Sharad Malhotra fell prey to a college prank

Vidrohi actor Sharad Malhotra says, “This was during my college days when DDJL had released. I had a crush on a girl and one of my friends came to me and said that he had booked the entire theatre for me and her. I was on cloud nine when I got to know this. I wore the best clothes that were in my wardrobe. As soon as I reached there I saw a housefull board. That's when I realised that it was a prank!"

When a production house played a prank on Ayush Anand

Balika Vadhu actor Ayush Anand says, “We just started shooting for our show Perfect Pati and the production team played a prank on us saying that the show was going off air and it was the only show in the history of television industry to be going off air in a month’s time. We all were shocked. Thankfully they told us quite early that it was a prank as some people were about to shed tears as they got so emotional.”
