Aasim Khan to play the role of an antagonist in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin; says ‘I see this as a turning point in my career’
Actor Aasim Khan feels elated to join the popular TV show "Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin," where he will play the new antagonist, Lucky. The show originally starred Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, and Aishwarya Sharma, and enjoyed a successful run. The second season introduced Shakti Arora, Bhavika Sharma, and Sumit Singh as the leads. Currently, the show features Hitesh Bhardwaj as Rajat and Bhavika Sharma as Savi in the leading roles.
Aasim shared his excitement, saying, "I'm delighted to be part of this popular TV show. This is my second show and hopefully one of the biggest breaks I have been waiting for. As an actor, I see this as an opportunity and a turning point in my career. I'm happy that my hard work and dedication are helping me to grow and explore."
Discussing his role, he explained, "I'm playing Lucky, who happens to be the younger brother of Rajat, the hero. He's very dear to everyone in his family. His only drawback is that he's a big-time flirt. If he likes a girl, he will do anything and everything possible to connect and be in a relationship with her. It's a promising role and very opposite to my real-life personality. As an actor, I'm enjoying this challenge to act and entertain my audience."
Aasim Khan previously portrayed the character Deepak in Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s TV show "Dalchini."
