Solanki Roy flaunts her summer haircut; Shares tips to beat the heat

Solanki Roy is in her ‘Tokyo’ era. The ‘Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E’ actress opted for a makeover this summer to beat the heat. Solanki recently shared her summer haircut on an Instagram reel and fans can’t stop gushing about her new look. The actress sported a pair of teal tinted shades and made a reel flaunting her summer hair. She used the popular dialogue of Lisa Haydon’s character from ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ as the audio of the reel and shared her ‘vibe’!

Solanki Roy, a popular face both on Bengali television and big screen, gained popularity after her stint with ‘Ichche Nodee’ as Meghla, opposite to Vikram Chatterjee.She played the historic role of Dr. Kadambini Ganguly aka Bini in a period drama ‘Prothoma Kadambini’ opposite Honey Bafna. She made her big screen debut with ‘Baba Baby O’ where she shared screen space with actor Jisshu Sengupta. The actress has also acted in web series like ‘Dhanbad Blues’, ‘ Montu Pilot’. She was last seen in a popular Bengali daily ‘Gaatchora’ as the lead female character Khori, and in a film called ‘Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E’ as Anindita. As per reports, Solanki will be teaming up for yet another project with Vikram. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement of that project.

As far as her romantic life goes, Solanki has been time and again linked with her good friend and actor Soham Majumdar. The Bengali actor, who shot to fame after his stint in ‘Kabir Singh’, has been working in Bollywood projects as well as Bengali ones. His film ‘Dukaan’ released recently. Solanki posted an adorable picture of them to wish Soham on his birthday earlier this month. Solanki was earlier married to her school friend in 2018. After her marriage, she moved to New Zealand. But the marriage was short-lived and the couple got divorced in 2023. Solanki is solely focused on her career now. According to reports, the actress is spending more time in Mumbai to set foot into Bollywood, like her rumoured beau Soham.
