The duo, who shared the screen on the popular Bengali serial ‘Jamuna Dhaki’, fell in love with each other while working on the show. Rubel and Shweta are set to take wedding vows soon. However, even before they are married, Rubel has been treated with the Jamai Sasthi platter by none other than Shweta’s mother. Take a look.

​Rubel and Shweta worked together in one of the popular primetime shows on Bengali TV, named ‘Jamuna Dhaki’. The actors fell in love while shooting for the show. The show went on for almost two years and was one of the most popular shows during its run.

​As Sangeet (Rubel’s character in ‘Jamuna Dhaki’) and Jamuna (Shweta’s character) navigated their journey on ‘Jamuna Dhaki’, Rubel and Shweta fell in love for real. ‘Jamai Sasthi’



​Although Rubel and Shweta are reportedly getting married in January 2025, the ‘Neem Phooler Madhu’ actor was treated to a delicious Jamai Sasthi platter this year by Shweta’s mother. Jamai Sasthi is the occasion when the son-in-law is pampered with delicious food and blessed for his long life. Rubel shared a glimpse of his Jamai Sasthi which had over 10 lip-smacking dishes. Rubel did not forget to thank her mother-in-law and his wife-to-be Shweta for the same.
