How about a hotel offering free 14-night stay if you test COVID positive? Yes, you heard it right. Palace Resorts, which is a chain with 10 all-inclusive properties across Mexico and Jamaica, are offering hotel guests free 14-night stay in case they test positive for COVID-19. This step is made in effort to encourage people to travel confidently without worrying about getting stuck somewhere, and end up spending more. Read less
Palace Resorts boasts of 10 hotels across some of Jamaica and Mexico’s scenic spots, and is well-known for its luxury, all-inclusive resorts.
Since the pandemic hit, each of the hotels have, reportedly, introduced strict protocols at their properties in Cozumel, Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Los Cabos, Playa del Carmen, and Ocho Rios. Reports have it that similar measures have also been put into place at the brand's adults-only spa properties, i.e., Le Blanc Spa Resort in Los Cabos and Cancun.
Regarding travel to Mexico and Jamaica, Mexico is now open for travel by air for both leisure and business purposes, whereas Jamaica has reopened for all foreign travellers.
