Mata Chintpurni Temple, with its historical and spiritual significance as one of the Shakti Peethas, is among the sites selected for this development. The new ropeway system is expected to accommodate 700 passengers per hour in each direction, as stated by the officials.

Currently, access to the temple is restricted to a single-lane road from the Baba Mai Dass Bhawan parking area, leading to issues like overcrowding and congestion during religious events such as Navratri.
In another development, officials from the Chintpurni Temple Trust recently announced that devotees can now order prasad online from the Shaktipeetha Maa Chintpurni Temple in Himachal Pradesh's Una.

This new service has been initiated to enhance the offerings to devotees. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri inaugurated this service, mentioning the ongoing efforts to improve the arrangements for devotees visiting the court of Maa Chintpurni.
