As per reports, the long-awaited new bridge will be finished very soon. The main reason behind the delay is the foundation work, but now that the things are fine, the bridge will also be open soon.

Located in proximity to the Old Delhi Railway Station, the old Yamuna Bridge connects the regions of Shahdara and Old Delhi Railway station via rail and road.
As of now, the bridgeās 15 foundations are completed. On the other hand, the work to finish superstructure is going on at full pace. As per Northern Railways construction department, the project will be complete by September 2023.
