California is jubilant, and for good reason. The American state has put an end to most of its pandemic rules, including rules on physical distancing. Governor Gavin Newson stood maskless on an outdoor stage at Universal Studios, saying, “California has turned the page. Let us all celebrate this remarkable milestone.”

The state lifted most of its restrictions at midnight, and has increased capacity limits for restaurants, bars, gyms, museums, supermarkets, amusement parks, stadiums, and more. This also prompted numerous establishments to reopen. So currently you have Disneyland back in action, and so is the iconic cable car of San Francisco that will reopen in August. Griffith Observatory too will reopen as per the current rules.
People are already looking forward to an exciting summer with California dreams in their eyes. But of course everyone is not going to come out and begin to crowd at places, as rules might vary according to establishments.
California was one of the first states to order the lockdown last year when the pandemic hit the world. It is a good opportunity for businesses to thrive now after a whole year of uncertainty, however, a sense of caution is always a good thing.
