There’s just something about Pai that makes you want to slow down, unwind and reconnect with nature. Basically, it’s the perfect place to focus on taking your yoga practice to the next level or simply dabbling in daily classes. Located just outside of the center of town, Xhale Yoga is a welcoming space open to all―from people taking their first-ever yoga class to advanced yogis―that offers regular 5-night retreats designed to develop your practice, bring breath awareness to your daily life and, of course, make you feel good. The retreats include hatha and yin yoga classes, pranayama and cleansing breath sessions, mindfulness meditation, delicious vegetarian meals made from locally grown ingredients and a rejuvenating location like no other. Here you’ll enjoy relaxing while looking out over bright green fields framed by the jungle-covered mountains in the distance. Just a few hours drive away from Chiang Mai, Pai is a great escape from the city and perfect introduction to the northern Thai hills filled with natural hot springs, waterfalls, national parks, rice fields and some of the friendliest people around. Be sure to leave time before or after your yoga retreat to truly soak up this special place.
