Via del Corso

If you are looking for some more inexpensive shopping in Rome or looking to pick up a few touristy items, head to the street of Via del Corso. You will most likely find this street busy with tourists and a younger population of locals. That isn’t to say you can’t find high end luxury stores around here though. Take for example the Louis Vuitton Etoile store that is housed inside the site of an old movie theatre. Today the store looks nothing like a movie theatre, and more like a high end gallery of clothing complete with a 3D screening room. Other higher end shops you will find along this store include Fette where you can stock up on designer sheets and towels as well as Mada Shoes. This street is also where you will find the Galleria Alberto Sordi, a shopping mall of sorts that consists of a few dozen stores including some more affordable chain brands such as Zara and Calvin Klein. A beautiful stained glass ceiling makes it easy for shoppers to enjoy lunch, coffee, and browsing the stores in this mall.
