The director further informed that permission for trekking to Rupin, Borasu, and Wali passes, besides Devkyara and Ruinasar will not be granted till August 31. It is to be noted that Govind Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most-visited national parks in India. The alluring landscape and the possibility of sighting some endangered species lures both domestic and international tourists to plan a visit here. True to its spirit, Govind National Park is doing exactly what it was built for. It was established to save endangered species and is referred to as a paradise in North India for spotting rare species.
Travellers need to be cautious while making plans to visit the sanctuary for now. Especially if you are in a mood to pack your bags and go trekking here, for you will have to wait a bit.
