Sustainable travel
Travel slow
Don’t just rush through the top sites just to get your Instagram pictures. Travelling is all about going slow and experiencing a place to its fullest, and the moment we rush through things, we miss out on the intricate details. To travel slow means to experience everything that a place has to offer. If you are travelling to a famous site, just take a moment away from your camera, and really see the place with your eyes, and experience what the moment makes you feel. It is a great feeling, and the only true way to travel.
Use your long weekends
Keep fit and travel
Travelling does not mean you have to let go of your body and torture it to the core. There are so many ways to keep fit even while travelling. Just take a hike, or walk around town, as that is a great way to keep fit. Moreover, these days most hotels have gyms, so just hit it for 30 minutes in the morning, and you can go about your day without feeling guilty. More importantly, you can eat whatever you want, and still stay fit.
Go to a new place
Yes, we all have our favourite places, and some of us like to go there every year. But this time, pick a place where you have never been before, even better, pick a state where you have never been before. This way you can experience a completely new thing, and feel enriched. This year, you could even plan to go to a brand new country, start small, start with your neighbouring countries.
