This Park has an area of 90 sq km and is situated in the Northeastern part of Palakkad district. It rises rapidly to the Nilgiri Plateau in the north and overlooks the plains of Mannarkkad in the south. With vegetation similar to tropical rainforests, the Park has an incredibly rich variety of flora, some of which is not found anywhere else in the country.
