Flights arriving and departing are with domestic and regional carriers on smaller aircraft. The single terminal airport has basic amenities like convenience stores, snack stands, and a post office.
The subway is the easiest way to get to the airport on the brown line, stopping at Songshan Airport MRT station stop. While buses are marginally cheaper, the subway is quicker and trains more reliable.
