'Thailand's Must-See Show', Siam Niramit is one of the world's largest stage productions offering a spectacular introduction to Thailand's art and cultural heritage. The past of the enchanted Kingdom of Siam is illustrated in three acts. 'Journey Back into History' reveals ancient civilizations and the diverse cultures that became the roots of the distinctive Thai way of life. Act 2, Journey beyond imagination, the three worlds, portrays the worlds of hell, heaven and mystical himapaan forest. Read less
'Thailand's Must-See Show', Siam Niramit is one of the world's largest stage productions offering a spectacular introduction to Thailand's art and cultural heritage. The past of the enchanted Kingdom of Siam is illustrated in three acts. 'Journey Back into History' reveals ancient civilizations and the diverse cultures that became the roots of the distinctive Thai way of life. Act 2, Journey beyond imagination, the three worlds, portrays the worlds of hell, heaven and mystical himapaan forest. (Good or bad deeds will result in merit or suffering in the next life Thai people believe.) Act 3, journey through joyous festivals shows the merit-making festivities and celebrations that Thais hold to ascend to Heaven.
150 actors perform in exquisite costumes amongst beautifully decorated set pieces. The spectacular special effects include the appearance of a river on stage, realistic rain, angels flying through the air, etc. There is pre-show entertainment, a Thai village, floating market and a restaurant.
