It cannot be classified as a museum or gallery, rather a combination of both, showing visitors how our earth works and the story behind the planet we live on. Visiting here means opening your mind to the future challenges faced by the earth and learning more about how life has evolved. Visitors will get a fully interactive experience when they visit here, going back into time and witnessing the big bang or traveling through space a billon times faster than the speed of light. Explore the deep sea through a yellow submarine, stand beneath the Aurora Borealis and touch an iceberg and fly high above the earth. The 360-degree show dome will take you on a journey through the stars and introduce you to theories about asteroids. This place is just as much for kids as it is adults and absolutely put this on your list of places to go while in Edinburgh.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
