A horse-riding tour is the easiest way to get in touch with nature in Iceland. There are a number of single and multi-day tours offered by tour operators. Choose one depending on your competency as a rider. Most tours cater to amateur riders, experts, and everyone in between. There are a number of day tours on offer but we suggest booking a two or three day tour in the countryside. Once you’ve chosen your tour, get ready to experience Iceland’s unspoilt wilderness on horseback. You will cross glacial rivers, black beaches, lagoons full of icebergs and waterfalls on your trip. Icelandic horses are famous for navigating hostile and rough terrains with the ease of veterans.
