Jackson Blue Spring is probably one of the most beautiful landscapes and cave diving spots in North Florida. The cave itself is no less spectacular. With depths ranging 100 ft, visibility in the 100 ft range, and cave passage that runs between 4,000 and 6,000 ft in linear distance, this cave rocks! Flow has been minimal for several years now, but when the Floridian aquifer is charged up with heavy rains, this cave can blow!
You must first check in at the Jackson County sheriff's department to get in. Diving fees is $25/person/day. The dive site is available 24/7. They allow night, open water, cavern, cave, solo, and scooter/DPV diving. Cave diving can be a deceptively easy way to die. Dive within your level of training and equipment. Do not enter a cave unless trained to do so.
