What makes Ghaf Gallery really special is the fact that it came up at a time when the art scene in Abu Dhabi was just beginning to blossom. In fact, it was one of the first notable galleries to have come up in the city. The gallery is owned by two renowned artists, namely Mohamed Kanoo and Jalal Luqman, who opened it in 2006, which is exactly the year when Abu Dhabi’s art scene started witnessing gradual growth.
