From live musicians playing on Frenchmen Street to the carnival celebrations during the annual Mardi Gras festival, New Orleans is synonymous with fun and entertainment. As the birthplaces of jazz, the city is full of historical musical venues and clubs. Head to the Preservation Hall to listen to authentic New Orleans jazz, the Palm Court Jazz Café for its spectacular atmosphere and jazz standards, or visit Frenchmen Street for all-night gigs and club-hopping playing everything from dance floor jazz to drum’n’bass.
