Housed in an historic art deco building, the Enmore Theatre is a popular destination for those wanting to rock the night away or laugh until they drop, as many of the world's biggest indie acts (from Australian favourites Powderfinger and The Cat Empire to international artists Marilyn Manson and Die Antwoord) and comedians book in here when they're on tour.

The theatre has its own bar, and the surrounding streets of Newtown host great-value eateries and pubs a-plenty to fuel up in before a show, or wind down at afterwards.
