There will also be a Mumbai to Kolhapur flight, which will operate on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday every week. This flight is scheduled to depart from Mumbai at 1:15 PM.
Named as the Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj Airport, the Kolhapur airport is located at the Ujalaiwadi neighbourhood, which is around 9 km from the main city. While some of the other low-budget domestic airlines are planning to start their flights from Kolhapur, the current flight connecting Mumbai will make travelling convenient for those who belong to the more remote parts of Maharashtra.
