There are a number of different companies throughout the city that offer a chance to kids to don a white hat and apron and prepare one of Rome’s favorite dishes, i.e., the ultimate pizza. Fresh ingredients are provided by the companies, as well as aprons and often a glass of sparkling wine for the adults. Classes take place in the historic districts, often in restaurants or huge kitchens that can hold many people. Ranging from 2–3 hours, kids will be taught all about the history of food in Rome, along with how to prepare the best pizza. The best part of the class according to kids, who have attended, is getting to throw the pizza dough up in the air and twirl it around. The best part for the adults perhaps is the end result, getting to chow down on the delicious pizza they have made! If your kids have ever complained about your cooking, now is the chance to let them prepare their own stuff.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
