If beer by the bay is what you seek, you don’t need to look any further than Harbour View, a rooftop bar and restaurant at the Strand Hotel, opposite Radio Club in Apollo Bunder. Apart from the stunning views of the harbour, this bar also affords unobstructed sights of the Gateway of India. Do check with the staff about offers on beers which are usually tempting and economical here. The food may not be worth writing home about but if you’re just looking for finger bites to nibble on, the Chinese starters shouldn’t be disappointing. Try to get here early and you will be rewarded with a table closest to the edge which makes visiting this place truly worthwhile.
