Probably one of the earliest water parks in India and a reason for every Kolkata resident to feel good about, the Aquatica Amusement Park was opened in the year 1999 as one of the largest water amusement parks in eastern India. Probably one of the earliest water parks in India and a reason for every Kolkata resident to feel good about, the Aquatica Amusement Park was opened in the year 1999 as one of the largest water amusement parks in eastern India. Spread across a huge area of 17 acres, this water park is full of some of the best water rides you can think of. Come summer weekends and those living in Kolkata and its surrounding towns come to this water park to spend some really good time with friends and family. Some of the most exciting rides in Aquatica include the Black Hole, Wave Pool, Niagara Falls, Surf Racer, Tornado and the Aqua Dance Floor among the others. There’s also a Go Karting track adjacent to Aquatica for the die-hard karting lovers. The water park is also home to AC rooms, conference hall, party hall, board room and food courts.
