In an array of independent stalls, all under one roof, you get the kind of eclectic fare that is endlessly pleasing to the lover of the quirky. Indie commerce at its best, Affleck’s is a treat for the shopper that seeks out the unusual. In an array of independent stalls, all under one roof, you get the kind of eclectic fare that is endlessly pleasing to the lover of the quirky. A boutique dedicated to star-wars jackets and t-shirts, others to unique footwear, vintage clothing, trippy accessories, even top hats—are among the treasures a shopper can come across. The store owners, all have stories to tell regarding the artfully designed objects they sell. Many draw on their own unique backgrounds and affinities to create or curate the products on display. The result is quite a bit of wearable art (like bags adorned with lego bricks) and objects (like elephant-shaped lamps) that perk up a dreary room.
