So you want to sleep where it's at without the price tag? Amazingly, this is possible at The Orlando. Fresh from an extensive makeover (cue fab new bathrooms), this neutral-toned hotel is right on Third Street, with cool boutiques like Opening Ceremony (451 North La Cienega Boulevard), Milk (8209 West Third) and Douglas Fir (8317 West Third) all just a few hops from the friendly reception desk.
Just don't stay without slipping through the hotel's side door into it's on-site restaurant. The Churchill's rustic industrial stylings (there's even a vintage photo booth upstairs) and so-now gastro-pub menu draws a hip, local crowd.
