About Slovakia
A beautiful nation full of astounding wonders, Slovakia should be in your to-do list as a traveller. The nation is full of old castles, and stunning mountains, and a sort of old-world charm that is not found elsewhere. Slovakia in fact has almost a 100 castles, some of them perched atop mountains, and has old cities that are protected by UNESCO.
The Slovak capital of Bratislava is a great attraction, but other than the obvious you can also try out some of its hidden gems. Go to Košice to see marvellous old buildings, and a quieter lifestyle; the High Tatras mountain area is a place of fantasy full of wild adventures, and stunning resorts; go to the UNESCO heritage city of Levoča and get charmed by its old history and culture.
