The viewing point atop Delhi’s Signature Bridge will likely be ready to open by June 30. The construction of the observatory deck on the pylon of the bridge is going on steadily, and the Delhi Transport and Tourism Development Corporation (DTTDC) has set this new deadline. Read less
The agency that built this bridge is now building a glass façade above the bow-shaped pylon, which will likely be twice the height of Qutub Minar. The bridge connects the Outer Ring Road with Karawal Nagar, and boasts of being known as the country’s first ‘asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge’.
The viewing point, standing at a height of 154 m will offer you a bird’s eye view of the city, just like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The said observation deck has earlier missed the deadline twice. However, it is expected that this time, it will finally meet the deadline.
DTTDC is also planning to beautify the area around the bridge by building gardens and a children’s park in open spaces.
