There are two Lemongrass shops in Rome, both quite close to the Vatican and easy to reach. Lemongrass uses only seasonal ingredients and it is particularly dedicated to produce gelato that is also suitable to those that have food allergies and intolerances. Gelato is whipped daily in the shops, using organic ingredients of only the best quality, such as pistachio of Bronte (Sicily), nocciole (hazelnuts) of Piemont and so on. The bestseller flavours are pistachio, hazelnuts and lemongrass (which has white chocolate, lemon cream and pralines), whereas some of the most innovative flavours are sacher torte, ricotta cheese and caramelized figues and strudel.
