Peddlers at Hotel Heritage sure knows how to pull in the crowd. DJs playing loud foot-tapping, entertaining the (mostly) young crowd who are in the mood to unwind and looking to have fun, theme nights and looong Happy Hours (10.30am to 12.45am, with a buy-one-get-one-free offer, except Fridays when the place shuts down at 10pm). Wednesdays and Karaoke Nights, Thursdays are Open Mic Nights (you can crack jokes, sing, mimic, etc) and on Fridays celeb singers from Chandigarh entertain the crowd. On some Saturdays, celeb DJs are brought in from Delhi to further pep up the mood. Blaring hip hop, latest Bollywood and English Rock does force one to up their vocal pitch. Talking of pitch...pitcher, they suggest the LIIT pitcher (Rs.1,050/- you pay for four glasses and get four glasses worth free), or the Canvassers among cocktails, while the usual hard drinks — single malts, vodka, rum, brandy — do the rounds among the more serious drinkers. Or, you could try the Flaming Lamborghini or their popular mocktails: Italian Smooch, Kiwi Crust. As accompaniments to your drink, order the Chilli Pepper Prawn, Grilled Fish or Veg Platter (assorted vegetables like broccoli, baby corn, mushroom and paneer).Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
