Located in Montreal's West Island since 1941, Trudeau Airport has been enlarged and extensively renovated multiple times. Following its last touch-up in 2009, the facility remains a modern, well-run international airport that conveniently houses international and domestic services under the same roof.
The airport bus 747 costs CAD 8 and runs 24 hours daily to nine downtown stops; purchase tickets at the counter or dispensing machine on the international arrivals floor or have the exact change ready in coins to pay on-board. Travel times vary from around 45-60 minutes. Alternatively, most taxis charge a flat rate of around CAD 40 for any downtown destination, excluding tips.
