The palace, noted for its splendid architecture, is famous for organising grand parties. But now it will be a part of Marriott's Luxury Collection. It was the famous interior designer Maria Vafiadis and local architects Péter Dajka and Puhl Antal who transformed the palace into a beautiful hotel.
Philipp Weghmann, vice president and global brand leader of The Luxury Collection, said, "The property allows our guests to realize the fantasy of living within a royal palace, elevated with modern amenities and impeccable service, and we look forward to welcoming them as they discover this timeless and inspiring city."
Prime highlights
Most of the palace’s features have been retained to give the hotel a rustic room. So you’ll still find crystal lamps, soaring ceilings, and art nouveau detailing.
The hotel features all the modern facilities and every room ceilings at least 13 feet high. Another prime feature of the hotel is the spa-style bathroom inspired by famous thermal baths of Hungary.
