A historical palace, kept in its original form, today it stands as a major hotel in Venice. The Gritti Palace with all its elegance and grace stands beside the lucid Grand Canal, conjuring a magical setting for holidaymakers. Guests are spoilt for choice in regards to everything; the rooms on offer include Deluxe Rooms, Venetian Rooms, Giglio Prestige Rooms and the Landmark Grand Canal Room, overlooking the splendid canal. Besides these, there are the suites, which include Sestiere Suites, Serenissima Suites, Heritage Suites, Patron Grand Canal Suites, Pisani Suite, Terrazza Redentore Suites, Somerset Maugham Royal Suite and the Hemingway Presidential Suite. Dining at the Gritti Palace is an indulgence the Venetian way; you can indulge in authentic culinary experiences at the hotel’s excellent Restaurant Club del Doge with sweeping views of the Grand Canal. The Bar Longhi is a delicately-designed bar with hand-sculpted mirrors and Murano glass lamps, complemented by a carved polychromatic marble counter. Guests can opt for private cooking lessons with the hotel’s very own Executive Chef Daniele Turco; the experience also includes a visit to the Rialto Market. The Riva Lounge on the other hand is an essential al fresco experience, where the Venetian weather gets you lost in a day-dream. The hotel’s in-house spa, Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Spa is an elegant space to relax and rejuvenate both your soul and body.
