Sandra Palace is the place to stay is Thekkady for its welcoming vibe and the good things it has to offer without burning a hole in the pocket. With an excellent location, the address of the property makes quite a good impression. The rooms are large-sized and clean and equipped with all the necessary, well-functional facilities. Head to Orchid, the in-house multi-cuisine restaurant serving Indian, Chinese, Continental, and Arabic cuisine, when those hunger pangs strike. Additionally, the Green Apple is apt for private banquets like birthday parties, baptism ceremony, get-togethers. The local food served is good to taste, mildly spiced and authentic. Try the Kerala Matta Rice and Ripe Banana Bhaji (Pazaha Bhaji). The Wi-Fi works in the lobby and there is helpful staff at your beck and call to serve your needs. Be prepared to hear the bells from the church across the street at 6 AM!
