A sublime hotel property established way back in 1928, it reopened in 2010 with a pretty arty look and feel. The hotel boasts the likes of Josephine Baker, Coco Chanel, Ernest Hemingway, Ravel, Man Ray, along with other Dadaist and Surrealists. Located on Avenue Hoche, it is in close proximity to the Champs-Elysees and rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore. The hotel also has an art gallery which has been curated by Herve Mikaeloff, a bookshop, and a team of art concierges to give out advises on art exhibitions. Therefore, it is safe to say that the hotel has taken a step forward to be a little more than just a hotel; it is a stylised art house for those who are inclined to culture. The hotel has 85 rooms and 64 suites, each of which is well-designed and unconventional, with the Presidential Suite 241 being the best of them all. The Royal Monceau Suite on the other hand is an extraordinary living space, with a vibrant feel and exquisite art works. The hotel’s dining options include the incredible La Cuisine, and Il Carpaccio, serving French and Italian cuisine respectively.
