It is easy to understand why Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa is rated as one of the best family-friendly resorts in Hawaii, considering it’s bursting with activities for the little ones. Children who attend Camp Hyatt, the daily kids’ program, not only get to play typical games and participate in activities, but also get to learn about Hawaiian culture, turning this fun activity into a learning opportunity. Kids’ menu is available at most of the restaurants, besides special kids’ room service menu. Dining couldn’t be easier as there are 10 dining options available with the premises. Free rollaway beds and free babysitters are just a couple of the perks here. And if that isn’t enough, then there’s more—four pools that are open 24 hours a day, the saltwater lagoon to kayak in, the lazy river to float in and the water slide to go down. Make sure to attend one of the twice weekly luaus that take place here as it’s quite a hit with both kids and adults. Just a word of caution—the surrounding ocean tends to get a bit rough at times and is not recommended for weak swimmers or children.
